Hollywood Doll @ NCC Essex Custom Bike Show

Second gig of the weekend for HOLLYWOOD DOLL was at the NCC Essex Custom Bike Show. This time we had the honour of supporting the wonderful Trash Monroe. It was so nice of them to offer us the gig, great guys!

It was an early start as we had to be there for 09:30 to get set up and sound check. Toni dropped Sam and I off and then went off to Burnham to pick up Stuart and Nicola.

Between bands there was a bit of tomfoolery going on between Sam and Gemima:

It was a very nice to see Shaun Parry turn up to see us play. I haven't seen him for a while so it was good to have a quick chat. Always nice to see a new friendly face at a gig.

HOLLYWOOD DOLL
This show was a real novelty for us as we had 40 minutes to play and so got to play every single one of our songs. That was so nice to do I can tell you. The set went well and we seemed to be well received (although Marie might have to work on her in between song stories). Playing out of the side of a truck was a different experience and I quite like the feeling of playing outside festival stylee.

TRASH MONROE
Trash Monroe put on an amazing set as usual. The are always a joy to watch and today was no exception.

It was a great day and I have to give a BIG THANK YOU to Trash Monroe for letting us play.
