It was cinema time again as Toni and I headed off to Cineworld in Bexleyheath. Our movie of choice was R.I.P.D. A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him.
Let's be clear, this is a silly film. You can't take it seriously, it is just one of those good fun movies that takes you along for the ride. There are some excellent one liners, plenty of funny moments and the strained relationship between "partners" Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds is great. Throw in Kevin Bacon making a convincing bad guy and you have a good blend of characters. We saw the 3D version of this which actually wasn't too bad with some nice use of the camera.
It's not big, it's not clever but it is a load of fun!
