Storm in a tea cup, transport and GP nightmare, Rangers choke at home

Well the great storms hit overnight. It was a bit more windy than usual but nowhere near as bad as had been threatened in the media. There was a some impact though as Sam had to WFH as all the trains were cancelled. Further reaching impact was that Pam couldn't attend Moorfield's today due to concerns about the weather.

An appointment was made for Wednesday and then things got really interesting as Toni tried to arrange transport for this. It all got a bit stressful as nobody wanted to accept any responsibility. It turned out that weekly transport was usually arranged by Pam's GP but they weren't allowed to provide anything while she was staying with us. Toni spent most of the day speaking to hospitals, GPs and the like trying to make some sense of it all with the only thing she really cared about being to get transport for Pam for her appointment. In the end Toni registered Pam temporarily with our GP in the hope that something can be sorted out transport wise and to ensure that Pam can easily get her repeat prescriptions. Things really shouldn't be this hard!

It was hockey night again tonight with New York Rangers playing there first home game of the season at the "Transformed" Madison Square Garden. Sadly this game was not as good as the one on Saturday night. Lunqvist was back in nets and Kreider was on fire but sadly they ended up losing 2 - 0. This team really need to get better at putting shots on goal! Disappointing......
