Toni's nan

Toni's nan went to Moorfield's Eye Hospital today for a regular appointment but had to be pencilled in for emergency surgery due to her eye bleeding. I won't go in to the gory details. Toni and I both whizzed up there after work to see her. We arrived and were told that the surgery wouldn't be until tomorrow so they would have to keep her in for the night. She was in quite good spirits despite the uncertainty over the impending surgery. I was dispatched on a mission to find somewhere that sold toothbrushes and toothpaste as the hospital shop was closed. Gotta love Superdrug! We stayed for a few hours before heading back home and devising emergency plans for tomorrow.
