Bacon cheeseburger heaven, selling The Beast, Clone Wars and Rangers lose to Bruins

We got up late today, very late. Pam got up even later LOL. Toni made a quick run to Tesco and then we went to bacon cheeseburger and chips heaven with a ginormous breakfast. Oh my gosh, it was SO lovely.

It was sad day today as we sold off The Beast for spares/repairs and cleared it out ready for it to be taken away on Tuesday. We did at least get more for it than we would have from a scrap dealer so it wasn't all bad. Once it has gone and we can cancel the insurance we'll be set to go and sort out collection of the new vehicle.

Despite us having other things to watch it was unanimously agreed that we should continue our Clone Wars viewing as we embarked on Season Two. Kebabs were ordered. We watched more Clone Wars. Anybody spotting a theme here?

We did have to stop before the very end of the season though to watch New York Rangers v Boston Bruins. J.T. Miller got things off to a fantastic start making it 1 - 0 at 03:20. He was one on one with Rask after a great breakaway, faked and then slotted it in. Bruins made it 1 - 1 at 18:07. The first period was all Rangers with them out shooting the Bruins 20 to 9. Period ended 1 - 1 with everything to play for. 04:06 into the second period and Bruins were leading 1 - 2. At 10:26 Bruins scored again and with a 1 - 3 lead were looking the more dangerous team. Thankfully at 16:53 Brad Richards clawed one back to make it 2 - 3 which is where the second period ended. *sigh* Bruins went 2 - 4 up at 09:04. Four minutes later and it was 2 - 5 to the Bruins. A powerplay opportunity for the Rangers cut the deficit to 3 - 5. It was all brief though as the Bruins soon made it 3 - 6. Game ended with the Rangers losing 3 - 6 so I headed to bed slightly disappointed!
