Hole in the road

Nothing of any real interest happens in Sidcup where we live most of the time but over the weekend a sinkhole appeared in the middle of the main road.

It played havoc with the traffic and especially the buses.

Crow Dancers @ 3 Wishes Faery Fest

The time had finally arrived for Crow Dancers to make their first ever stage performance. We had a great time, it rained heavily and people came to watch us and danced their legs off. The reception was brilliant and we were all very pleased. Here's a few pictures captured from various sources.

3 Wishes Faery Fest day 3

It was a bit wet today so most of it was spent in hiding trying to keep dry. I was spotted out in the wild for a short spell though :)

The remainder of my time was spent getting nervous about the debut performance of Crow Dancers (there's a separate blog for that).

3 Wishes Faery Fest day 2

Today was rather overcast which wasn't really what we wanted weather wise but hey ho :)

When the weather looks like it's on the turn you can't beat a nice cuppa to cheer you up!

Connach was in good spirits and having great fun with his hula hoop.

I managed to catch a bit of the most excellent Fly Yeti Fly

As I was there to perform as part of Crow Dancers I decided to start getting in the mood:

Dinner was not only gluten free but also vegan!

Jo wasn't too sure about advertising Corvus Corax's merchandise LOL

I went into roadie mode for the night helping The Dolmen get ready for their set. I was then on live stream duty beaming parts of their set on to Facebook. As usual The Dolmen put on a fantastic show.

3 Wishes Faery Fest day 1

It was up early today all packed and ready to head to Weymouth to meet Chris from Crow Dancers so that we could drive down to Cornwall together for 3 Wishes Faery Fest. It was a smooth journey overall apart from a wait for the Torpoint ferry.

We got there while it was still light though.

We arrived just as the Daughters Of Gaia were hitting the stage accompanied by Karen Kay.

After a wee bit of entertainment it was time to set up Camp Glitz for the weekend. Thank you to Locana for providing me with a pink camouflage tent!

The weather was lovely so I went for a stroll around the site.

Headlining band tonight was Galleon Blast (featuring Mark Radcliffe) treating the crowd to some piratey goodness.

We danced the night away into the wee small to the excellent sounds of Loonaloop in the rave tent.
