This evening Toni and I ended up with a house to ourselves. This happens very rarely so we took advantage. We started off with a lovely meal in Zizzi before heading to Cineworld in Bexleyheath to watch Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children.
Despite battling fatigue (and a full belly) I made it through the film (just). This is a fun film that is clearly aimed at children. There are a couple of scary moments that may well invoke some night terrors for the younger ones due to it having that dark Tim Burton twist. The story was fun and moved along well and the special effects were superb. Samuel L. Jackson looked amazing.
Definitely fun for all the family and don't be put off if you are an adult and want to go and see it, you don't need to borrow a child to justify it LOL
If you are thinking of going to see it then here's the trailer to convince you:
GREETINGS FROM AIRSHIP GLITZVILLE!
The splendiferous exciting adventures and inane ramblings of KT Glitz and his beautiful wife Toni Glitz. There will also be garbage talked about music, movies and Star Wars, a LOT of Star Wars!
If you can't be a good example, you'll just have to be a horrible warning!
Never forget your dreams, they are the hopes of the future!
