Swollen battery

Sometime IT gives you a little treat when things go wrong. Sam has often told me about faulty Dell laptop batteries that can swell up. Today I got to see one first hand as it was removed from a colleague's laptop.

Test Of Honour

Sam and I had a gaming day today. Test Of Honour was our choice and we played it a lot. It is one of those dark horse games that you don't have high expectations of that then impresses at every turn. All hail samurai battles!

Weird frogs on the green chain

Sometimes interesting things happen on the green chain walk to the station in the mornings. Today I was confronted by some weird and wonderful frogs. No idea how they got there but it was a fun discovery and made me smile.

Client ConnectION

Today I was donning the old whistle and flute to represent my teams at our company's Client ConnectION every. It was a grand old affair and so great to see many clients and also listen some great speakers talking about the Treasury world.

This was a really positive event and I hope they become a regular thing.
