Dark Crystal: Age Of Disappointment

So tonight we decided to have a crack at Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance. We were all big fans of the film and had high hopes for this Netflix TV series especially with some of the high profile cast members.

Sadly we only made it through two episodes before giving up. It just didn't hit the spot for us. The story was somewhat flaky and it seemed to plod along slowly. The puppets and universe were of the high quality we would have expected but the whole thing was just somewhat lacking.

Maybe we'll go back and give it another go at some point but it didn't grip and didn't warrant a binge watch.

Well today Toni and I had a lovely surprise. Sam had arranged a night out for us and we had no idea what it was. We started off with a lovely meal and then we ended up at the London Palladium:

He had secretly bought us tickets to see Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Sheridan Smith and Jason Donovan.

It was a brilliant show, really strong cast with Sheridan Smith and Jason Donovan putting in amazing performances. We all had an absolute blast and Sam ended up with both of their autographs at the end of the night.
