It was with great sadness that I received the news today that The Gaff, a fine music venue in London, will be closing it's doors for good on Sunday. The Gaff was one of the best small venues in London and I have seen loads of great gigs there (as well as performing a few as well). Sadly another great London venue bites the dust.
The only slight positive is that they are trying to move as many of their scheduled gigs to The Dome in Tufnell Park so it's not a complete disaster but it won't be the same and I'm not sure if the same opportunities for new and up and coming bands will be there as there were at The Gaff.
