YAY! Felt much better today. The damn lurgy feels like it is finally shifting its sorry butt out of my life.
We got up early as Nick was having Gemima and Aaron for a bit and then we scooted off to Sainsbury's car park to meet the man from Autoglass so that he could replace the windscreen (due to a large and expanding crack). It would have been done at Toni's house but unfortunately it was chucking it down so had to be done under cover and Sainsbury's was the nearest place that we could all get access to.
Following the fascinating experience of watching the windscreen being replaced Toni, Sam and I went to grab a cooked breakfast. Next stop was Argos to get some pots and pans for Toni. Once back at her place I helped put her new curtains up, very nice purple ones.
A quick pick up from Nick's and then we popped in at Toni's mum's so that Gemima could be given her birthday present. We stayed quite a while as for some reason we all became captivated by Domino Day 2009 on Channel 5! Fortunately we managed to drag ourselves away.
As it was Gemima's birthday we went to the O2 and had a meal at the Ha Ha Grill, the queues everywhere else were massive as Beyonce was doing a gig there. We then headed back to SWF and Toni went to bed early as she wasn't feeling well, I think we have been playing lurgy tag for weeks now so I hope this is the last of it for her too!
