Lloyds TSB and HBOS to merge?

Lots of talk about HBOS being in advanced talks to take over Lloyds TSB. Have to say I have mixed feelings about this as I wasn't very happy when Halifax took over (sorry, merged with) Bank Of Scotland to become HBOS and this won't make things any better.
