Had a text from my friend Sarah who has been to the hosiptal to find out more about Ric. He is in theatre at the moment so we are awaiting more information. She has also made contact with his dad so hopefully we'll have a better idea soon of exactly what happened. There is a report in The Echo acknowledging that Ric was stabbed on Sunday in Westcliff. It is reported that his stomach wound was 8 inches wide and at the time he was critical but stable (borne out by the fact he is now in theatre) Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Hopefully theatre will go well.
