The Wildhearts @ The Forum

Wow, what a great night that was!
Despite some VERY irritating train issues Toni, Sam and I all managed to meet up at Liverpool Street station and then caught the tube to Kentish Town.

Posing at the station!

The opening support band were totally awesome. They were called Tragedy and were a heavy metal tribute to the Bee Gees! Sounds bizarre but they were very entertaining performing some metalised Bee Gees numbers but still keeping the falsetto vocals.

Check them out online here:

Here they are in action:

And here is a quick video of Tragedy, excuse the sound which isn't great but you'll get the idea!

Next up were A, a band I was unfamiliar with. Seems they had returned after 4 years of being apart. They weren't but not really my thing. Here's a couple of pics:

And then came the main attraction, The Wildhearts.
Despite being a little off form (with Ginger confessing that they did no sound check and then having a couple of breaks throughout the set cos he had the hump -which he did apology to everyone for) The Wildhearts were great.
Loads of energy, spot on harmonies and a set brimming full of their greatest tracks.
Defintely worth seeing live, and defintely worth going to see again. When the band came on Sam disappeared to the front of the mosh pit whilst Toni and I had to make a tactical withdrawal away from the madness and watch from a safe distance as she is still recovering from her whiplash injury and the last thing she needed was a collision with a mosher.

And here they are, The Wildhearts:

Ginger apologising for acting like a c*** becuase of the bad sound (bad sound was on stage monitors I might add, not out front):
