Die So Fluid @ Camden Dingwalls

Toni and I made a change to our plans today and whizzed back from Bexhill-on-Sea to head off to London for some giggage.

As we arrived at Camden Dingwalls we were delighted to see that a friend of ours was kicking off proceedings. So, without further ado, here's the run down:

I NATION
Dylan Smith rolled us over with another set of his unique hippy trippy metal. This was the best I've seen them so far although sadly the place was empty while they performed.

KILLING FOR COMPANY
Well received by the crowd but not really for me. A bit like a lite boyband version of Manic Street Preachers. "Gone Too Far" was a really good song though and they managed to get the audience singing which was no mean feat. They warmed up the audience pretty well though.

SPiT LiKE THiS
Theyre back and sounding really good!
Rob Riot has really settled in now and is a great addition to the band.
A bit too much new material for my liking but then that's the suffering of a long time fan! That didn't bother the audience though as most of them were unfamiliar with SLT and so just enjoyed a good heavy show. It was great to see them all again as it's been a while. It was just a shame that there was no "Sex Drugs & Heavy Metal" or "Sweet Transvestite".

DIE SO FLUID
Die So Fluid are one of those bands that I like in the studio but am not so keen on live. They sounded a bit grungy tonight and it wasn't really for me. Saying that though the audience went wild and gave them a great reception so it was job done for the band!

Overall it was a really good night out. Was great to see Dylan (I NATION) and Z, Vikki, Rob and Gilez (SPiT LiKE THiS) again and we were both really glad we shifted plans to attend.
