It was another great day for not waking up early and lots of much needed rest was had. Fortunately the Whitby lurgy was short lived for Toni and she felt much better today! Once we did finally rise we started a lot of tidying up getting ready for mum's arrival on Tuesday. With most of the tasks taken care of we then embarked on a marathon viewing of The Young Ones.
Two whole series from start to finish had us in stitches for hours. They just don't make comedy programs like that any more unfortunately. It was also a great way for some great bands to get some exposure on TV too, Motorhead, The Damned, Amazulu and Madness to name but a few. Might have to start moving on to The Comic Strip Presents soon!
