Bacon, oracle cards, goodbye to Mel and star gazing

Breakfast today mostly consisted of bacon. There's nothing more satisfying than having a house filled with the aroma of freshly cooked bacon. Well actually there is but you catch my drift! LOL

At Mel's request Toni and I cracked out our oracle cards and divination tools to do some readings for her. It was really nice to chat about various things and to use the cards to work out a course of action. There was lots of positivity and affirmation which hopefully will help Mel going forward. Sadly we ran out of day and the time came when she had to leave us. It all went so quickly but we had a fantastic time.

Pam had a really early night for once so Toni and I made the most of it and headed upstairs early! After a short nap we both woke up and were fascinated by two bright lights that we could see that didn't appear to be moving. Having discounted it being flying machines we cracked out the SkyView app and discovered that tonight both Venus and Jupiter were visible and that was what we could see. Here are some SkyView snapshots from the directions we were looking in.

Turns out you can buy a star gazing telescope that connects with the iPhone and the SkyView app. Have to say it looked tempting!
