Good day and Verminitide

Today surprised me with lots of good things happening and also some good meetings going on. Such an improvement on herding cats yesterday :)

Games Workshop's latest video game Vermintide arrived for PS4 today so I had a great time playing that with support from Sam who has the PC version. His guidance was most welcome.

Vermintide is an epic co-operative action combat adventure set in the End Times of the iconic Warhammer Fantasy world. The world is ending, though few believe it. The once proud city of Ubersreik now stands in ruin at the hands of the dreaded Skaven army. All that stands in the way of the city’s ultimate fall is you and your team of misfit heroes. Team up with 3 friends and work together to thin out the ratmen’s forces and drive them out of the city. Assume the role of one of five heroes, and hack, slash, smash, burn and pierce the vile Skaven using a multitude of weapons. This is our last stand and only you can stem the Vermintide.

The gameplay is fun, it isn't overly complicated and the controls are simple and the co-op play is right up my street. The whole thing carries the feel of the Warhammer Fantasy world very well.
