30 years ago, the Berlin Wall came down

The Berlin Wall fell came down 30 years ago. It's incredible to think it was so long ago now but it was a monumental happening in Germany. It might have been 30 years but that day hasn't faded from my memory.

The wall was a symbol of oppression that divided a city, It left a profound stamp on my heart when I saw it as a child that never left me.

There was such a feeling of joy watching it being torn down on the news. I cried when it happened.

It was a wonderful, yet odd, feeling going back there after the wall was gone.
