Toni and I spent the morning getting ourselves ready to go to Mike & Moira's wedding. Hair colour, wardrobe decisions and lots of rushing about were the order of the day (including dropping Gemima off at Sophie's and getting stuck in traffic due a bad accident on a roundabout in SWF).
We arrived at The Saltings in Hockley in plenty of time and enjoyed having most of the other guests looking somewhat bewildered by your dynamic gothic duo!
Just before the ceremony started Toni "the cadaver" Scott realised that she had picked up a homing spider who seemed to re-appear everytime she though he had been removed from her person:
Here we are looking all cutesy:
Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth (with Richard and Claudine in the background)
Mike looked visibly relieved when nobody said anything when asked if anybody knew of any reason why they shouldn't be wed. At that point Richard offered me £10 to say something! I did behave though LOL.
With this ring............
You may now kiss the bride:
Signing the register:
The happy couple
"THAT" goth couple
We were all assembled for a group photo and the photographer couldn't get the height he needed so he opted on standing in the boot of the car, at which point ever member of the wedding party with a camera starting taking pictures of him!
Before we went in for the meal an Iceland delivery can pulled up outside The Saltings much to our amusement. We did wonder of it was some last minute catering LMFAO
The meal was absolutely delicious. Melon starter followed by roast beef and then a fruity dessert. It was a lovely touch replacing the usual name plates with ginger bread people.
We were on a table with Richard and Claudine which was a relief as they are a fun couple. I did manage to be a good boy during the speeches and only managed to have one double entendre outburst!
The wine was lovely and flowed freely although the label on these bottles did make me chuckle............ I hope it wasn't literal!
Following the meal there was a brief moment to enjoy some fresh air before the disco and buffet began (and lots more people turned up including a lot of my work colleagues). The rest of the night was superb, free bar flowed freely, met some great new people and had a wonderful time.
Quick snapshot of part of the buffet although I can't for the life of me remember why I took this photo:
And finally, a BIG thank you and CONGRATULATIONS to Mike and Moira. It was a wonderful day and I hope you will both be very happy together.

You took the buffet photo (after drinking about a bottle and a half of wine to yourself) because you said (and I quote) "they look like boobies".
Glad you both had a good time.
These are the first photo's we've seen of the wedding - us still being on our honeymoon and all...
P.S. Stranded in our cottage at the moment, due to the first bad weather since we got here! What to do... what to do...? :-)))))
