S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Flash finales plus Luke Cage

Tonight we watch the season finales for both Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Flash. Both finished strongly and leave things nice and open for the subsequent season plots. Both Marvel and DC have done well with these shows building them up and making them better as time goes on.

I am now getting really excited for Marvel's next series on Netflix, Luke Cage. This show is scheduled to commence on September 30th.

When a sabotaged experiment gives him super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive attempting to rebuild his life in Harlem, and must soon confront his past and fight a battle for the heart of his city. The old criminal turns crime fighter plot line returns but it should be good! The Luke Cage series will eventually lead into a crossover show called The Defenders which will also feature Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist.
