Went on the Ticketmaster website today to get pre-sale tickets for Madonna at The O2. I was astonished. £175 per ticket! Tried again to be offered tickets for £110 each. Both of these sets were in the higher seated areas and not the stalls! There were cheaper tickets at £85 and £65 but they weren't available when I was trying. All those prices were without the booking fee which was about £15 or something silly like that.
Much as I would love to see Madonna live I do not believe she is worth paying £65 to see, let alone £175, especially considering I managed to get tickets to see Eddie Izzard at The O2 for £40 each (and that included the fee).
Madonna, Madonna Madonna, nein danke!
