Sophie update...

Went to see Sophie at the hospital this afternoon, poor girl looks so tired and totally fed up. She got really tearful just before we left as the midwives didn't seem to be listening to her concerns but she did later on to say that things were now OK and she was calm and relaxed and happier. 4 hours later I get another text to say that she had been given pethadine as her contractions were suddenly getting really strong and painful. Had a brief chat with her and she is in good spirits. Hopefully this will be the start of things moving and I will get to report something positive tomorrow!
