Michael Monroe @ O2 Academy

My original plan tonight had been to go to Toni's and then we were going to both head off to see Michael Monroe. Things did change slightly! After work I ended up popping to the pub to have a birthday drink with Stefan which took slightly longer than planned. David then asked if he could come along too as he didn't just want to spend the rest of the evening drinking!

David and I got a taxi to Angel and we went to the Wetherspoon's there and waited for Toni to arrive. David took an interest in a girl's tattoos (her name was Sue) so we started talking to her. She had some nice artwork and David was particularly impressed with a zombie that she had! A few drinks later and Toni arrived so we had another and then headed off to the O2 Academy.

In an unusual turn of events we managed to miss all the support acts and turned up just in time to see Michael Monroe. He put on a great show as usual but it just didn't quite live up to the last time we saw him.
