Pretentious, Moi? @ Nambucca

Toni and I made a return visit to Nambucca tonight for some goth goodness. Toni experimented with a new look and was stunning as usual!

TERMINAL GODS
Have we just gone back in time? Terminal Gods blasted out a set harking back to earlier Sisters Of Mercy and it was GOOD! I've been looking forward to seeing them for ages and am really glad I finally have. Thoroughly enjoyed them especially their cover of Addicted To Love!

Here's a little video taster of TG performing Constrictor:

WITCHING HOUR
I quite enjoyed these guys. They did sound a little samey from time to time but the songs were of good quality. My only real criticism is that they weren't very interesting to watch. Both members routed to the spot and mostly staring at their fret boards. A little work on the stage craft and they could be something special.

THE ETERNAL FALL
WOW! What a voice. This guy was amazing. Great songs and such a wonderful delivery too. It takes a brave man to do an encore on his own (due to an equipment failure) and there aren't many singers who could/would do this.

Here's the encore:

PRETENTIOUS, MOI?
...and so we come to the climax of the evening. Once again Tim Chandler and his merry cohorts gave us a strong set of great songs, much energy and passion and general fun and enjoyment. It's so nice to see people on a stage actually entertaining and also have a ball themselves.
