The universe has taught me a lot of the past week or so. One of these things is about the manifestation of desire. If you do things right and lay good foundations then everything will fall into place. Sometimes you just have to be patient and trust for it to happen. It can be quicker than you think!
After a short break from the worlds of Stars Wars it was back to it today. Season five of The Clone Wars continued. In other Star Wars news Lucasfilm has just been announced that shooting for Episode VII begins in May at Pinewood Studios. It was also revealed that Episode VII will take place 30 years after Return Of The Jedi. For us purists that makes it 34 ABY (34 years After the Battle of Yavin). The film will "star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces." I can feel my excitement levels going through the roof the nearer we get to release date!
Finished the day off watching New York Rangers v Ottawa Senators. The signs weren't good as Ottawa took a 0 - 1 lead but thankfully Rick Nash leveled it up short handed not long afterwards. Rangers penalty kill let them down again as Ottawa made it 1 - 2. First period ended 1 - 2 in favour of the Senators. Rangers weren't playing badly but they need to tighten up a bit on defence. With11:04 left in the second period the Rangers tied it up again to 2 - 2. Rangers took the lead for the first time making it 3 - 2 at 15:48. With 1:16 left in the period John Moore made it 4 - 2 for the Rangers. 15 seconds left and we get another Rangers goal from John Moore and the period ended 5 - 2 to the Rangers. Senators pulled one back to 5 - 3 after they got away with some offside play after the puck was way outside the blue line. At 02:40 Rangers get the comfort zone back and it's a 6 - 3 game. 4:45 and Brassard made it 7 - 3. Sadly at 12:49 the Senators got back to scoring ways making it 7 - 4. Senators pulled their netminder with three minutes left. Rick Nash filled the empty net with 2:30 left to make it 8 - 4. The third period ended with Rangers winning the game 8 - 4.
Netminder Henrik Lundqvist set a franchise record as he picked up his 302nd win overtaking the previous Rangers all time win holder Mike Richter. Let's Go Rangers!
