Full English, tent, ice hockey and a bloody big scare

Tasha cooked us up a glorious full English breakfast. It was the perfect way to start the day before we had to head off back to Sidcup.

On our return Toni and I eagerly unpacked our new bell tent and headed to back garden to set it up in the glorious sunshine. It was such a breeze to put up and it's massive. Can't wait to get away in April for the Dolmen Grove Spirit Of Beltane Camp to use it properly.

I then spent a disappointing afternoon watching ice hockey. First up was Philadelphia Flyers v Pittsburgh Penguins. I was routing for the Penguins as a win for them would help the Rangers but sadly that one ended up with the Flyers winning 4 - 3. It didn't get better after that as the New York Rangers took on San Jose Sharks and despite heavily out shooting them the Rangers went home empty handed with a 1 - 0 loss and a drop in the standings. ARSE!

After the ice hockey Toni, Sam, Pam, Aaron and I went round to Rishta for dinner. We had a good time and some lovely food. We were just about to have some coffee when Pam said that she felt a little dizzy and wanted to go home. She tried to stand up, sat back down and then started shaking and was quite unresponsive. This was NOT good. 999 was called and a first responder turned up. After a bit of time Pam did become responsive again. After various checks in the restaurant by the first responder Pam did become much more lucid. Ambulance crew then arrived and she was taken to Queen Elizabeth to be checked out. A few hours later she was back home again. The verdict was that they didn't believe it was a heart attack, stroke or related seizure but that it was purely down to her eating loads. Never heard of that before but apparently it can be quite common in older people. PHEW! That was an experience that we could have done without but all was fine in the end!
