Great day, Star-Crossed and an impressive Rangers comeback

Today was another one of those good days. I like good days.Lots to do at work, everyone in good spirits overall and a lovely lunch from Itsu. More like this please!

Got home at a reasonable hour and had a nice chill out. Couldn't be bothered to cook so it was Chinese for dinner. Lazy yes but hey ho, that's the way I roll LOL

We caught up with the latest Big Bang Theory Episode and then the last two episodes of Star-Crossed. This is one show that we aren't quite sure about yet. It has good sci-fi roots but also verges dangerously on the Twilight teen romance side. It's hanging in there with enough little plot twists to convince us to keep watching. Hopefully they will allow the show to shake off a lot of the teen love story in favour of good plots.

As it's Friday we decided to stay up to watch New York Rangers v Carolina Hurricanes. The game started badly with the Hurricanes taking a 0 - 1 in the first period after successfully beating Lundqvist with a penalty shot. Second period ended 0 - 1 and despite the Rangers heavily out shooting the Hurricanes they just couldn't score. It all changed in the third period though. Rangers equalised at 07:25 before the Hurricanes went 1 - 2 ahead at 12:07. Rangers made it 2 - 2 at 13:24 and once again it was anybodys game. At 17:14 the Rangers converted a power play chance to make it 3 - 2 and then bagged an empty netter at 19:19 to make it 4 - 2 which is how the period ended. Four goals in one period made for an impressive comeback.
