Sleep in, horror films and Star Wars board games

After the Rangers disappointment last night there was a well earned sleep in. Due to our brief scare with Pam yesterday we decided that I should stay at home with her today while Toni went to the moot.

Sam and I watched The Babadook and The ABCs of Death taking advantage of Toni's absence to watch some horror films.  The Babadook was quite enjoyable with an odd ending but at least didn't follow the usual cliche. ABCs was hilarious, 26 short films based on a word from the letter of the alphabet. Well worth checking out!

After the films we indulged in some gaming. This was not the video kind though, board games, old school :)

First up was Star Wars: Escape From The Death Star:

Simple to play and great fun PLUS it was Star Wars so what wasn't to like! The result, that's what, Sam beat me twice LOL.

Next up was Star Wars: The Adventures Of R2-D2. This was much simpler to play than Death Star and was aimed at a much younger market. It was a laugh though and at least I won that one!

Guess who played the pink R2-D2? LOL
