Bad news, good news, Helloween and Maiden

Today brought both bad and good news. After radio silence from our rehearsal Stephen got in touch to say that he had fun in the session but that it wasn't really for him so is no longer going to continue. The good news is that Pixie isn't going anywhere so now we search for a new drummer and also a second guitarist.

Following the rehearsal I have been listening to a lot of Helloween. The two aren't related it's just what happened. Sam and I were talking about how much we'd loved the Pumpkins Reunited show and how we'd love to go and see it again even if it's just a DVD release from the band of one of the shows at some point. I then jumped on to Youtube and managed to find a really good recording of one of the first shows on the tour filmed in Santiago, Chile.

After the Helloween goodness I then ended up watching The History Of Iron Maiden Part One: The Early Days. It was a fascinating documentary and I can't wait to watch the rest of the parts.
