Coffee Town, bizarre shopping experience, spring cleaning and Pirates

We started our day off meeting Jamie in Coffee Town for breakfast. Well it was lunch really by the time we'd got ready and made it into Eltham. We traveled in on the bus rather than driving which was a real novelty.

After food we wandered off to try and buy Sam a smart jacket for a meeting that he has on Monday afternoon. First stop was Marks & Spencer, the ultimate place to pick up a suit or smart jacket. At least it used to be. After wandering around the store for five minutes we went and asked where the suits etc were and were told that they no longer stock them in this store due to lack of demand. We were astounded at this. M&S has always been the place to go for to buy this sort of thing. Apparently the nearest branches that still stock suits are in Bromley or Bexleyheath.

Next up was Debenhams who also failed us big style with no menswear at all let alone suits and jackets. We were getting a little frustrated by this point. Final stop was Moss Bros but one look at their prices (even the heavily reduced ones) made us decide to abort the mission and head home. Absolutely crazy that we could get a suit jacket from a busy high street like Eltham.

Spring cleaning started today with a blitz on the dining room. We got lots done but we have a whole pile of work to do throughout the whole house tomorrow. Kebabs were accompanied by Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End.
