Bird with a crisp packet, all change & Rangers lose

I was waiting at the bus stop with Sam this morning and look up at the rooftop opposite to be treated to the sight of a bird running around with a crisp packet. It was quite amusing to see it taunting the others with his shiny prize!

Well you don't see that everyday!

Work was a mixed bag. There was angst, laughter, hard work, despair and progress. Who said that life was boring there! Best part though was the revelation that it's all change again and we are now being moved for a THIRD time. We started on the 16th floor, went up to the 26th and very soon we are now heading all the way down to the 2nd floor! The view is absolutely shite there but apparently the showers are great. Well that's OK then!

We caught up on Misfits and Grimm with dinner and then had a bit of a QI XL fest on Netflix. #2 of our advent candles was burned.

The night was round off with New York Rangers v Winnipeg Jets. Things started well with Zuccarello making it 1 - 0 after 02:49. First period ended 1 - 0.  Jets equalled things up at 09:16 in the second period. 44 seconds later and it was 1 - 2 with a beautiful goal from the Jets. Callahan tied it up for the Rangers at 15:50 after a mad scramble in front of the Jets net. Second period ended 2 - 2 so it was a third period with everything to play for.  12:42 into the third and Jokinen made it 2 - 3 to the Jets. with 1:54 left the Jets strike again for a 2 - 4 lead. Sadly with 51 seconds left the Jets got the empty netter to make it 2 - 5. Game ended Rangers 2 - 5 Jets. Jets wanted it more in the third period and thoroughly deserved the win.
