Last day of work and dinner with dad and Stephanie

Today was the last day of work before a nice block of time off with me returning to the office on the 2nd January! It was a reasonably busy day but not too stressful as pretty much everyone was already in wind down mode.

As the day progressed the weather got progressively worse. Toni sent me this nice little picture of our back garden! More stuff to have to sort out in the New Year *sigh*

Toni came up to London in the terrible wind and rain to meet Sam and I at Charing Cross so that we could pop along to Covent Garden to meet dad and Stephanie at PJ's Bar & Grill. It was good to see them again, we had some really nice food, wine and a good catch up. It was a lovely evening with the only down side being that we had to get ourselves back home through more wind and rain.
