Early start, Bexhill-on-Sea and La Trattoria

We had to get up early today, WAY too early. We actually overslept as it was 07:20 when we got up when it should have been 06:30! Toni, Pam and I were out of the door at 08:15 heading off to Bexhill-on-Sea for an appointment with Fox & Sons to sort out the paperwork. We got diverted off the A21 due to a nasty accident that had happened earlier. The scary thing is that if we'd left when we had planned we might have been involved in it. One small diversion later and the world's slowest Audi TT driver and we arrived at Pam's flat 20 minutes late. Thankfully the estate agent was cool and had hung around. The paperwork and measuring was all done very quickly.

Once that bit of the day was sorted we then sorted out a few more bits for Pam to bring back so that she could surround herself with familiar things in her room at ours. After that we headed to La Trattoria for lunch.

Needless to say it was gluten free Pollo Allo Scoglio for me again!

As I was completely stuffed after my seafood delight I opted for a more liquid pudding. This little gem is called Sgroppino. It was made of lemon sorbet, cream, vodka & Prosecco cocktail. Oh my...... delicious!

After the food Pam went for a stroll round the restaurant escorted by one of the waiters. She seemed to be enjoying herself!

We then popped back to Pam's flat to load up the car and then we headed back to good old Sidcup for a nice cup of tea and a chillout.

The evening played out with Big Bang Theory, Haven and Grimm and then New York Rangers v New Jersey Devils.
