It was a novelty having a fridge in a room and no we didn't really expect it to be full of booze as it was a B&B!
We popped out in the rain to the exotically named Cafe India for some food (can you guess what they sold?). It was just a couple of minutes down the road so was very handy.
After the noms we dashed backed to the B&B, called a taxi and then quickly got changed for our night of fun.
We arrived at the John Gregory and it was just wall to wall friends. Amazing. It was like a big family reunion. Scratch that, it WAS a big family reunion.
Apart from spending time catching up with friends and drinking there was also a cracking line up of entertainment in store too.
DORSET WRECKS
Dorset Wrecks are a very new male vocal group specialising in Sea Shanties. Some well known classics sat alongside some stuff I'd not heard before with some lovely harmonies. Most enjoyable.
COPPERTONGUE
Kerrie and Chris Pinney treated us to a short set of wonderful folky tunes. For the uninitiated Kerrie also plays flute for The Dolmen. Really enjoyed their set but stupidly forgot to go and buy the CD afterwards!

PIXIE MIKEY (PIXIEPHONIC)
This set was much too short but included some of what will soon become known as Pixiephonic classics.

It's Hard To Be An Elf At Christmas
DIANE NARRAWAY
Diane Narraway, Dolmen Grove Chair , was up next with story on the origins of Father Christmas.
THE DOLMEN
Another awesome set from The Dolmen rounded off the Dolmen Grove Yule Ball quite nicely. There was singing, there was dancing, there was drumming, there was a magickal feeling in the air. It was just awesome as usual!
