Off to Nottingham to see Scarlett's dance show

After breakfast and a morning relaxing we made a trip to Nottingham to see Scarlett appear in a dance show. It was all a bit surreal when we arrived as we stood around chatting to Sophie and her boyfriend Liam, Shane and his mum Helen, plus Steph who was there with her two young boys. It was all very odd but was uneventful.

The dance show was great fun. Scarlett did very well in all of her numbers. It was the usual mix of show tunes and pop numbers with a broad age range of kids involved. Some of the tiny ones were most amusing. I managed to grab a few shots which I've had to doctor slightly as it was impossible to get any of just Scarlett. There is video too but these will only be shared privately with family.

After the show we had an hour or so all talking together while the kids played. We then took Sophie, Liam, Kenzie and Scarlett to Red Hot Buffet in Nottingham town centre for a meal. We all had a lovely time and enjoyed some delicious noms.

It was lovely to see Sophie and the kids again as it's been a while. It was also great to meet Liam too who seems to be a decent chap and very good for (and to) Sophie.
