Catching up with Sharon and Alan and dog rescue

Toni and I went over to see Sharon and Alan this afternoon, some VERY old friends of mine, who I hadn't seen for nearly 10 years.

We had a really good time, it was lovely to catch up and it felt like I had never been away. It was also lovely that Paul and Jane popped round to see us too (when they heard that I was dropping in).

Much amusement came when Sharon had a phone call from Kieran (Paul and Jane's son) saying that he had been accosted by a large stray dog and had it shut in the garden. We all mobilised and went round to Paul and Jane's to sort out the situation. It really was a big dog, very friendly though. Thankfully the owner was located so the dog was collected rather than having to be picked up by the stray dog unit. Here is the litte devil:

We then stayed at Paul and Jane's for more tea and chat before heading back to Sharon and Alan's. Just before we left we listened to a CD of Brad's music. It was pretty good and I have now been tasked with talking to him about how he can approach things with regards to taking his singing further.

Final take was Alan messing around with Sam the dog. Here they are. Sam will soon be famous............
