A nice fry up was delivered to our bellys. Nobody complained about this, can't think why! Bacon, eggs, sausages and toast are always a good way to put a smile on our faces! LOL
Lots of chatter about various things and nothing in particular was the followed by clearing the table and more rest and relaxation!
In the afternoon we had a pre-Xmas meal as we won't be seeing mum over that period this year. Turkey, gammon, roast potatoes, parsnips and carrots made for on very yummy meal!
As is customary with any visit to mum we ended up leaving with a huge food parcel including lots of gluten free goodness! Thank you mum!
It's been a really good weekend and was lovely to see mum again.
When we got back home Sam then surprised Toni and I with a late wedding present. It was delivered over the weekend so it was makeshift wrapping!
Such a beautiful present and lovely heart shaped gingerbread Yankee Tarts to burn on it!
