Sadly the weekend had disappeared all too quickly and it was back to a busy day at the office. Busy and frustrating but that seems to be par for the course LOL. Still, mustn't grumble eh?
On the plus side it was also a productive day with one project being closer to an end than I thought it would be so that was good.
Got home to a lovely dinner and we caught up on a few episodes of Disenchantment on Netflix. The evening finished up with Titans before a nice cup of tea and a chill
GREETINGS FROM AIRSHIP GLITZVILLE!
The splendiferous exciting adventures and inane ramblings of KT Glitz and his beautiful wife Toni Glitz. There will also be garbage talked about music, movies and Star Wars, a LOT of Star Wars!
If you can't be a good example, you'll just have to be a horrible warning!
Never forget your dreams, they are the hopes of the future!

Recording for The Mystery Machine and lots of ice hockey
Today I cracked out the home studio equipment to start doing some recording for The Mystery Machine. A few driver updates and reminding myself what I was doing I soon had Logic Pro X up and running and ready to roll. Toni gave me some harsh but fair feedback which resulted in me submitting my first take it making the mix so it's all good. Sadly my studio headphones started dying so I have had to order some more before I continue my tasks.
Toni and I had a late breakfast and then caught up with the New York Rangers v New York Islanders game from last night. It was good to see a nice heated affair with the local grudge match continuing. Sadly they lost 2 - 4 but was a reasonably close game until the last five minutes (and damn those empty net goals).
Looking through the NHL app on Apple TV we were seeing if there was anything showing at a reasonable hour so that we could watch a whole live game. We were intrigued by the game against Chicago as the other team had no logo.
Further research revealed that EIS was the Eisbären Berlin and Chicago were playing a preseason game in Berlin.
This then triggered a lateral thought process and a quick internet search showed that Eisbären Berlin are playing a home game while we are in Berlin at Christmas. After a small struggle getting registered we had booked tickets to go and see them play Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers in December.
Tonight we were cheering on Berlin against Chicago! It was so nice to watch an NHL game that wasn't peppered with adverts every few minutes (as the broadcast was from Berlin). It was a really good game with both teams playing hard and fast. Sadly Eisbären Berlin lost 1 - 3 (damn those empty net goals AGAIN). Having watched this I am now really excited to see them in December.

Magick & Mayhem and sneks
Toni and I had a pleasant afternoon doing a Magick & Mayhem workshop at Giselle's. Our blending skills came to the fore as we made both incense and an oil too. Obviously I won't reveal the ingredients or the intent but they came out very well and smell lovely. Can't wait to start using them (for evil only of course muahahahaha - not really).
Was also treated to this delight as we relaxed afterwards with tea. Absolutely delicious and not too sweet at all. Despite the name there was not an orange in sight!
Once everyone had gone Toni and I help Giselle move her vivariums around and I had to remove and reposition the heat lamp on one of them. That was challenging I can tell you (bloody thing). The work was appreciated though and Lillith loved it.
The day finished off with kebabs, The Good Place and Young Sheldon and some sections of live NHL games. Perfect :)

Disney+ and The Mandalorian poster
It's a little over six weeks now until Disney release their new Disney+ streaming service. Still no news on when it will come to the UK so I'll be signing up early just like I did WWE launched WWE Network to make sure I can pay for it and watch from day one. They've just released this beautiful poster for their first Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian.
Hopefully it won't be long before we get news of when Disney+ will launch here and also what they will announce for current subscribers to the Disney Life service. I am currently subscribe to that and Disney+ will largely supersede it but at present we have no idea if it will run in parallel or we'll be migrated over. I'm sure it will get set down eventually I just hope we are treated well when it comes to the transition.

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Tonight I decided to have a little PS4 time. Once I was passed the shock of it starting with an error an freezing I got everything back up and running and then settles down for a little gaming. It was time to go old school and indulge in a little nostalgia as Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast has just been ported over. It was a little odd playing it with a controller but the memories came flooding back.
I had a real blast playing it although I was much worse at it than I used to be!

Robot, Blades Of Glory and gothic goodness
Busy, productive, busy, productive.... robot mode engaged LOL
Blades Of Glory was our film of choice tonight We haven't watched it for a while and we'd forgotten how silly it is. It's always a good sign when the whole room is laughing out loud.
The rest of the night was in music mode as we listened to lots of gothic goodness. All About Eve, The Sisters Of Mercy, The Cult, KMFDM, Specimen and among others.

Busy start, Wayne's World 2 and chilling to tunes
It was another busy old start to the week with me having to double on doing a normal working day as well as covering the late shift too. I might sleep well at the weekend.
Tonight we watched Wayne's World 2 to complete the Mike Myers goodness after which we just chilled out to some music. We start with Hendrix then moved on to The Doors and ended up on All About Eve

Late start, Addams Family fun, Love Guru and Wayne's World
Got up much later than usual today as I didn't go to bed until gone 2am. We ended up watching a large chunk of a New York Rangers pre-season game after I got in from the gig. Just as well I don't worry about the team too much until the season actually starts or I'd be a mess (we've lost the first there game) :)
It was an Addams Family double bill today as we watched both The Addams Family and Addams Family Values. I guess we must be nearing the 31st October. Forgetting the ghastly politics here in the UK that is a date that we actually look forward to here in Glitzville.
You can expect a lot more creepy viewing posts over the next month or so :)
Breaking away from the darkness for a moment we then went into Mike Myers mode. We started off with The Love Guru. Haven't watched this for a while but it was just as silly and funny as I remember. It also has one of the best cover versions of Extreme's More Than Words.
Of course we had to throw Wayne's World into the mix if we were watching Mike Myer's movies :)
Nothing to be said about this one really, you either love it or hate it. Guess how we feel?

NYTT LAND @ Electrowrkz
Tonight I was out all on my lonesome for an evening of music at Electrowerkz.
No matter how many years you are away Electrowekrz (Slimelight) never changes. I think that is part of the charm LOL. It was like I'd never been away although it was odd being there without Toni.
First up tonight were Seventh Harmonic. I was looking forward to seeing them play as they were borrowing my bass LOL. Thoroughly enjoyed their set. Dark atmospheric and symphonic gothic feel.
Next up was Seidrblot. I had no idea what to expect here as they had nothing available online apart from a short YouTube video. They were the dark horse and very very good. Traditional rhythmic sound with glorious chanting creating a powerful ritual energy that was easy to get lost in. Absolutely marvellous.
Last but not least were NYTT LAND delivering there Siberian shamanic ritual style. Despite some technical issue they were good. The pace was slower that Seidrblot's and generated a different level of energy but it was magickal nonetheless.
It was a fantastic night with three great bands. Seidrblot won themselves a new fan tonight and I'll definitely be keeping an eye on what they are up to and would love to experience the energy they create again.

Productive day and Dracula Untold
It was a productive day. Went in early again, got loads done but managed to actually get away early which was great and a welcome change.
Take away dinner and Dracula Untold was a lunch chunk of our evening.
This is such a good retelling of the Dracula/Vlad story. Enjoyed just as much at home as I did at the cinema. It's a real shame that they didn't many to get any traction on the Universal Classic Monsters and expand out into other stories.
It was a good end to the week and set me up nicely for the weekend.

Long day, positivity and QI
It was a long day today, I went in early and had wall to wall meetings for most of it and didn't get to leave early either. On top of that I had to continue working for a couple of hours when I got home. it's still all good though. Manifestation is a wonderful thing and I am now finding the positive space around me is much wider and I am able to keep everything in check.
Despite having to work there was lovely food to be eaten and laughs to be had watching a few old episodes of QI.
So there you have it, life is good right now and long may it continue :)

The universe provides
Well it's been a funny sort of day. It started out with a bit of a shock (in a good way) as the universe manifested some things which was a much needed boost. This enabled me to progress the rest of my day in a sensible manner.
It's not that there weren't challenges, there were many of them, but things all slowly fell into place. I missed lunch, didn't get to leave early and I had to do a late night call with a client but I am not feeling stressed about it all. Long my this last and the universe smile upon me.

Busy day, QI, Youth Of Today and Shelter
The day didn't start well as I headed to work facing the fallout from a failed last night. Turned out to not be not as bad as I had feared and everything was redone and up and running by 10:30. Things then went a bit manic for most of the day which was quite tiring. The saving grace though was finally getting something working that has been a thorn in my side for a few months, Such a relied to get that sorted and also end the day on a positive note.
It was nice to get home and relax. There was lovely food and an evening of laughing at episodes of QI on Netflix.
Toni embarked on a lengthy phone call with a friend helping her to proof read and refine a research document so I disappeared into a world of straight-edge and kirshnacore taking in some of the great albums of Youth Of Today and Shelter.

Taking it easy, baking bread, movies and NHL season start
I decided to take things a bit easier today, despite having plans to do more garden and garage work. Toni wasn't feeling well so i let her sleep and caught up on some Pose as well as ice hockey highlights from last week.
I did, however, go back into baking mode and made Toni another load of gluten free keto bread. This one looked even nicer than the first one.
It tasted much nicer too. I used slightly less psyllium husk and beat more air into it this time.
Our afternoon was spent watching some movies... We revisited the old Tom Cruise classic Minority Report as we'd not watch dit for ages.
Next up was the recent Stan & Ollie starring Steve Coogan and John C Reilly. I was won over at the start with the wonderful line, "I'm never going to get married again, I'm just going to find a woman I don't like and buy her a house!" It's a funny but emotional film. Coogan and Reilly were spot in their portrayal of Laurel and Hardy.
LEGO Batman Movie was next. LEGO movies are always good for a laugh and this one was no exception. It's all done in the usual LEGO madcap irreverent style.
The day finished off with a little ice hockey as the NHL season is just starting up again. The only game on offer was Arizona Coyotes v Vegas Golden Knights. Oh how I've missed the regularity of this screen:

Productive day and What About Dick?
Today has been very productive day. Toni and I started with a top to bottom sort out and tidy of the bedroom. It was long overdue and now looks great once again.
We then whipped up some sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs for a lovely breakfast and watched the last few episodes of Blown Away (a glass blowing competition).
I spent the afternoon doing various bits in the garden making the most of the sunshine that we were having. Here's the garden as it looks now
While browsing for something funny to watch on Netflix I stumbled across a wonderful little gem called What About Dick?. It's a musical radio play performed on stage by Eric Idle, Tim Curry, Billy Connolly, Russell Brand, Tracey Ullman, Eddie Izzard, Jim Piddock, Jane Leeves and Sophie Winkleman. This had us crying with tears for the whole thing, it is absolutely brilliant.

Full moon magick
Today was Friday 13th and also a full moon night. It was a good night for magick, and magick was done. Letting go and destroying toxic stuff and manifesting strength and positive vibes was the order of the day. There was fire, there was drums, there was magick in the air. Oh yard, there was also a full moon *grin*

Captain SKA - Fuck Boris (Feat. Rubi Dan)
Given the dire state of politics in the UK at the moment it was a nice breath of fresh air to come across this irreverent song from the marvellous Captain SKA. They've done many songs with anti-establishment political leanings over the years but this one is utterly fabulous! That's Why We #FuckBoris
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Trailers and stuff
It's been a while since I have done a trailer round up so without further ado, here's some things to watch out for in the future.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie
Based on the Breaking Bad TV series we see Aaron Paul make a return. It has to be confirmed if Bryan Cranston will also be joining the cast.
See
Fresh from the recent Apple Event yesterday we also have the trailer for their new sci-fi starring Jason Mamoa. Set 600 years in the future after a virus has killed most of humanity and left the survivors blind, the series centers on Baba Voss and his efforts to protect his twin children. See offers us a glimpse at the perils humanity faces in a world where humans are forced to adapt to a world without vision.
Watchmen
This is another TV show based on a film, in this case in the form of the movie of the same title based on Alan Moore's excellent Watchmen comic.
JoJo Rabbit
This looks every bit the crazy that you would expect from a Taiki Waititi offering. Set during World War Two, an awkward young German boy whose only ally is his imaginary friend Hitler has his naïve patriotism tested when he meets a young girl who upends his world views.
Terminator: Dark Fate
This one should need no introduction as we see Arnie return along with Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor.
That's it for now dear readers, enjoy the trailers and see you at the next one :)

100 days until Star Wars Episode IX The Rise Of Skywalker
As is customary as we approach the release of the latest Star Wars film it's time for some irregular countdowns (that will soon become VERY regular). So as it stands today it is 100 days until Star Wars Episode IX The Rise Of Skywalker.
Day off, sorting out hedges and a new shower curtain
Today I had a day off and I actually managed to not work (well very nearly). It wasn't much or for long so an improvement on previous days off LOL
Toni and I popped over to Miggi's for a lovely breakfast before we tackled the day.
Bursting with adrenaline due to fallout from said working (I won't go into that here) I decided to go out front and tackle some serious overhanging hedges on the driveway that were now pushed up tight against the camper van. A couple of hours later and everything was pruned back nicely and is now manageable going forward. Such a great feeling of accomplishment once I had finished.
In other news we have a lovely new shower curtain. We've now upgraded from Minions to this wonderful piece....
