Where have all the good songs gone?

Whatever happened to rock and roll? Three and a half minutes of cheesy bubblegum anthems seem to be a dying breed and I just don't like it!

Have been having a wail of a time listening to "old skool" tunes from the likes of Peppermint Creeps, Heart Throb Mob, Sick Six Crush, Pretty Boy Floyd, Tuff, Poison etc

Don't get me wrong, I am all for long, well structured complex songs but you cannot beat bubblegum rock/pop/dance!
