Isle Of Wight - Day 1

Got up early and packed the car up ready to set off for the Isle Of Wight. As we were getting the car ready Toni managed to bash her eye on the car door and cut it. From the looks of it she will have an amazing shiner, you can just see it showing here!

Had a really good run to Portsmouth so we had to kill some time before we could even join the queue for the ferry to Fishbourne. Refreshed ourselves in Frankie & Benny's before joining the queues.

Was hot and a long wait and we did start to flag a bit.

After a while we did start loading on:

And they're off:

The mob on the ferry:

We whizzed passed the Isle Of Wight hovercraft en route:

We had a bit of fun and games finding our cottage but we got there in the end. It is totally gorgeous:

Lots of fruit trees around the cottage. Mum went on an explore and decided to show us one of her plums (oh matron!)

Toni was delighted to see that the owners had left us some biscuits, some of which were gluten free:

Popped out to get some food in for a few days and then came back and started to unpack and just chill out and relax.
