Went in to talk to Sam when we got up to ask if he wanted to come to Chelmsford or not. He then asked what happened to the picture. I explained why I had taken it down and that it didn't change anything that had happened in the past and wasn't an attempt to forget or hide them away. He was upset so I left him to think about things for a while.
Not long afterwards he came and gave me a great big hug and explained that he was more pissed off that I hadn't told him what I was going to do. I did explain that he was at Sophie's with his mum and didn't want to upset him and apologised for not telling him. More hugs followed and he seemed less upset.
