Crisis at work, three hour RAW, TV shows & under the weather

Crisis time at work today with everybody's favourite product once again managing to get itself under the microscope of senior management scrutiny as it degenerated into a stinky pile of pooh! By the end of the day a solution was still not forthcoming although at least the developers managed to identify what the cause was. Not that it's going to happen but they really should stick it into maintenance mode and get it stabilised and more resilient before we continue selling it. Time to actually invest money and stick some proper resources on it to get the code up to scratch and up the ante on the testing.

Tonight we watched another three hour episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. Not sure if it's just me but three hours is just way too long. two hours was sometimes a struggle when you had to put up with over long skits and mic segments but now with three hours we just have to fast forward most of the show just to watch some wrestling. I don't mind the story line build ups and segments that are essential to the flow and to help build angles but now it just seems to be more filler than substance, Thank goodness for high speed fast forward! I'd like to see it return to a two hour segment. On the plus side it was great to see Vince McMahon back in the ring again and even more amusing to see the non-scripted bit at the end of the show where CM Punk twats a fan who hit him on the head. That little incident could well turn VERY interesting (not to mention legal) over the next few days/weeks!

I also took some time looking for new TV shows to entertain us and have discovered Sinbad and Tron: Uprising which I am very interested in watching. We are also gearing up for the return of Once Upon A Time which has just started again. While those little gems were winging their way to me we caught up with the latest episode of Alphas which continues to be a good show.

Poor old Sam was off of college today as his lurgy is in full swing. He was even more subdued today than yesterday and he is definitely not well as he asked for the heating to be put on (Sam hates heat!)

On another downside I am now starting to feel a little under the weather so I am really hoping that I don't start to come down with something too.
