Wedding planning goes good, goes bad & Indie's birthday

Today was a big day for wedding planning. We started off with a trip to coffee town for breakfast before heading to Wicca Moon to go and see Shirlee. Unfortunately she was about to run a workshop so we ended up making an appointment for Thursday to go and talk about our ceremony.

Next stop was Tudor Barn where we head a very productive meeting. Lots of good things came out of our meeting with plans all going full speed ahead and we left feeling very positive and excited. Sadly this feeling was about to take a bit of a knock. We popped by the old house in Mottingham to pick up some post and found there was a wedding RSVP among the various letter. This was from some friends of Toni's who had, very late, decided to inform us that they wouldn't be coming even though Toni had had many conversation with them about the wedding and what was being worn. One of them had even made the hand fasting cord! This was a real shock to Toni and it left her feeling very flat. We've had a few people inform us that they couldn't make it any more and only one of them had a reason that we actually understood (having to make living always wins) and at least that person will be coming in the evening anyway so we will still see him.

Things were a bit flat after that although we did get some other confirmations in and are sure that it is going to be a fantastic day when we finally get there.

We popped over to Leanne's in the evening to drop off a present for Indie as it was her first birthday. It was very amusing watching Gemima playing with Indie and making her laugh.

Here's Gemima, Shivaani and Indie

We were supplied with tea and gluten free chocolate cake which made things seem a lot better and thankfully we were feeling a lot better when we got home.

We rounded off the day with a bit of Dead Like Me to raise our spirits (full pun intended)

We were sorry to hear that your wedding plans have had a bit of a knock. But overall it sounds like its all heading for a great event.
