Grrrr day, Game Of Thrones board game, RAW, Alphas & Downton Abbey

It was a bit of a grrr day at work today. Back to the old cleaning up other people's shit routine again which is oh so much fun! It was rounded off with us failing an item due to inadequate documentation and then haven't some sarky git writing some new instructions that were so anal that it was ridiculous. Talk about taking things to an extreme to try and prove a point! It was an enjoyable lunch though with a pub visit with the much missed Mr Steele who is now located in a different building.

Sam received his Game Of Thrones board game today and was just a little bit excited!
It looks very nice and am sure it will be great fun to play when we get round to it.

TV catch up time started with the continuously disappointing WWE RAW. It did get slightly interesting with the farce called Goldberg, sorry I meant Ryback, being announced as CM Punk's opponent for Hell In A Cell. At least it's not another match against Cena!

Alphas was up next. I still enjoy it but it does seem to be taking on a very X-Men style with the whole Rosen v Parish angle being very similar to the whole Xavier v Eisenhardt/Lehnsherr thing. The difference is that Alphas is more a revenge thing rather than humanity (sort of). It will be interesting to see where they take it next week with the season two finale.

The evening finished off with Downton Abbey. So many people have sung it's praises and given it great reviews that I thought it would be worth giving it a try. Have to say I was quite impressed so there's quite a lot of catching up to do now as we'll be going through them at a rate of knots to catch up!

You might ask Matt if he wants a game. He's very keen on the books and expressed an interest. There's also a card game based on the series.
