Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Rangers win in overtime

Toni and I headed out to Cineworld in Bexleyheath to go and see Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It was a really good film and another fine piece in the Avengers story. I'm not going to spoil anything here but if you like Marvel films or are a Captain America fan then this is a definite must see. It weaves into the Avengers web very nicely and also sets up future films.

We got home in time to watch the first New York Rangers game of Round Two of the Stanley Cup Play Offs against Pittsburgh Penguins. Things started well with the Rangers taking a 2 - 0 lead at the end of the first. Sadly the Penguins managed to turn things around and had things tied at 2 - 2 at the end of the second period. The third period was scoreless and ended 2 - 2 and so it was into overtime. Things didn't look good for New York as Pittsburgh were on fire but an early charge from the Rangers and has rapid assault paid off as Brassard scored with only 03:06 gone. I'm not going to complain about taking a 1 - 0 series lead from a 3 - 2 overtime away win.
