Day off and sheds

I had a day off today which was nice. Even got up at my usual time rather than having an extra long sleep. Started things off with British Gas returning to do the gas safety check. Having had the gas fair in the living room marked "At Risk" a few weeks ago our landlords had demanded a recount as the item in question has passed checks over the last 5 years. Thankfully the engineer said the previous guy doing the check might have just been a bit over zealous with his report. Although the gas fire and ventilation don't meet current regulations (which have changed recently) it is not dangerous and can now be used if we want to and the landlords have a clean bill of health.

Had a nice chance to chill out and not doing very much before Bob came round to help out in the garden. Not sure why but he was unable to do what he had planned so he offered to help me build a new shed. It was an interesting experience trying to build something with someone who didn't really want to use the instructions. We did get there in the end though..............

I was aching by the time we'd finished, I'd broken a nail and whacked a finger but it was all good. I was pleased and Toni was pleased too. Just need to give the wood some treatment now and we'll be good to go!
