Forks Over Knives

Toni has been predominantly vegetarian for the lat year and has lost loads of weight as a result. My diet has improved somewhat in that time but still leaves quite a lot to be desired. Tonight we watched the Forks Over Knives documentary.

We've watched quite few documentaries about going vegetarian and why we shouldn't eat meat etc but this was the first one that contained all of the scientific reasons with real case studies as well. It wasn't just about how a plant based diet is good for you but also covered how moving to one can actually reverse the effects of years of abuse on the body from eating garbage. 

It was definitely food for thought if you'll pardon the expression. Toni is now looking at moving slowly to an almost vegan diet and I am going to work on cutting out more and more meat to move to a predominantly plant based diet. A slow transition should make this work rather than immediate abstention. Interesting times ahead, regular updates will follow....
