Exciting sci-fi visuals, offer on Pam's flat and twice Bitten (now shy)

There were a couple of exciting sci-fi visuals revealed today to get my juices flowing.
1) Lucasfilm and Disney revealed a new character for their Rebels animated series. C1-10P (aka Chopper) is a a lazy, cranky (if ultimately good-hearted) astromech droid.

2) Peter Capaldi's Dr. Who outfit was revealed todayday and I approve:

We got a call this evening saying that someone had viewed Pam's flat yesterday and that they were making an offer. We gathered our heads to discuss things and it was decided that the offer should be accepted as there was no chain and it was a cash in the bank deal. The estate then asked us if we were prepared to let him haggle. We said yes and the next thing we knew there was a significantly higher offer which of course was accepted. Now we wait for formal paperwork to come through and then hopefully the wheels will be in motion to complete the sale in a short period of time.

Leanne came over for the evening to talk Sensoma business. Plans for capturing data, information for press releases and ideas for the new website were all mulled over. It was all very productive.

Sam made a delicious stir fry for dinner and then we watched Grimm. It's getting really good and it's so frustrating when a show ends and you have to wait another week for the next episode.

Sadly this was not the case with Bitten. The first episode showed promise but the second was pretty awful. Lots of unnecessary sex and very little plot or exploring of the characters. Add to them some not so great acting and poor special effects and it lost it's appeal very quickly. Toni said that the book was actually quite good but in the case of the TV show it is a firm twice bitten, now we are most definitely shy. Shying away that is!

Herbal teas and Boston Bruins v Florida Panthers ended the day. The Bruins were on fire and banged in four before the Panthers could answer. Four minutes into the third the Panthers made it 2 - 4 on the power play. Five minutes later and Bruins had increased their lead to 5 - 2. Just to make sure the Bruins notched up another one to make it 6 - 2 with 2:09 left to play and an impressive win!
