Bloody cars, change of plan

So today we were supposed to be going to the Dolmen Grove Essex Moot. Unfortunately we were hit by a little car trouble. The Polo can't be driven as there is an MoT due, the battery on Gertrude needs to be looked into along with the electrics which left only the Chrysler which just pain refused to jump start. That was the plans for the day cancelled.

The Polo will be having an MoT tomorrow and this is the current state of the Chrysler battery:

Hopefully it will manage to charge up enough to start the damn thing so we don't have to buy another battery for it. The advice we were given was charge it and sell the whole thing which is the plan now LOL.

Later in the night I was given a car electrics 101 by our friend Oaken which was most informative and will hopefully help us to maintain Gertrude without relying on other people. As a result of this I have now been introduced to the awesome Eric The Car Guy on YouTube and will conducting some testing for a parasitic draw once the multimeter I have ordered arrives. Look at me getting all car maintenancy LOL.
